Property courier at a glance
A property courier is a dedicated delivery service for the keys, documents, appliances and materials that estate agents, landlords and housing providers move between offices, properties and tenants. Flextro collects the item and takes it directly to the recipient, on one vehicle, with no parcel depot in between.
The work is usually one of two kinds. Urgent handovers, such as keys for a completion, signed documents for an exchange or a part a repair cannot start without. And planned movements, such as runs between branches, appliance deliveries and materials for void works.
The difference from post or a parcel network is the handover. Keys and signed documents go only to the agreed person, with the time and name recorded, and appliances can be delivered by two people into the property.
Courier options for property
Most property delivery falls into six patterns, from keys that must reach a buyer today to the same run between branches every afternoon. Each one runs on a vehicle dedicated to your job.

Anything that has to move between offices, properties and tenants, from a single set of keys to a van load of appliances. These are the items agents, landlords and housing providers ask us to move most often.
Property keys, fobs and access cards handed to a named recipient.
Signed agreements, completion packs and inventories on deadline.
Cookers, fridges, washers and boilers delivered into the property.
Parts, fittings and materials for repairs and void works.
Furniture and furnishings for furnished lets and show homes.
For sale and to let boards, brochures and show home materials.
Keys and signed documents? These are handed only to the agreed recipient, with the time and name recorded. Tell us about any ID check or access requirement when you book.
Before the vehicle leaves
Keys handed to the wrong person, or an appliance that will not fit up the stairs, cost more than a late delivery. These six details are agreed before collection.
Keys, documents, an appliance or materials, and whether anything is sealed, bulky or fragile.
A branch, head office, supplier, solicitor or property, and the person releasing it.
The named buyer, tenant, agent or contractor, and what happens if they are not there.
Completion time, tenant access window or contractor start time, planned backwards from that.
Parking, stairs, lifts and door widths for appliances, and any key safe or concierge.
Your property or job reference on the booking, and proof of delivery with time and name.
When a handover is due
In four steps. You tell us the item, the recipient and the time; Flextro assigns a vehicle and fixes the price; the driver collects from the branch, supplier or solicitor; and it is handed to the named recipient with proof of delivery. The booking line is open 24 hours a day.
What is moving, where it is, who must receive it and when.
A vehicle matched to the item is assigned and a fixed price agreed before the booking is accepted.
The driver collects from the branch, supplier or solicitor using your property reference.
One journey to the recipient or property, with the time and name recorded as proof of delivery.
Nationwide property coverage
Across the whole UK. Flextro collects from and delivers to estate and letting agents, housing providers, managed blocks, developments and tenants in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
A handover does not stop at a regional boundary. Keys from a branch in Croydon can go straight to a buyer in Brighton, or an appliance from a supplier in Birmingham to a tenant in Coventry, on the same vehicle from collection to delivery.
Type a town or city to open its local coverage page, or start a quote for any UK collection and delivery postcode.
Vehicle matching
It depends on the item. Keys and paperwork fit a small van, a single appliance needs an SWB or LWB, and several appliances or furniture need a Luton. Give the items and any access details and the vehicle is matched for you.

Customer proof
Real reviews from UK businesses that use Flextro for urgent, planned and repeat deliveries.
For agents and housing providers
If keys, paperwork and materials move between your branches and properties every week, a Flextro business account replaces booking each job with agreed rates, scheduled runs and one monthly invoice. An urgent completion still gets its own vehicle, on the same account.
Branches, regular recipients, properties and access details are kept on file. When a completion is due, the booking team already knows where the keys are going, so briefing an urgent job takes a sentence.

Property courier pricing
A property courier is priced on three things: how quickly the item has to arrive, the vehicle and handling it needs, and the route including time at the property. There is no rate card, because a set of keys across town and an appliance delivered by two people are different jobs.
How quickly the item must arrive.
Branch runs booked ahead cost less than the same movement raised as urgent.
The vehicle and people the item needs.
The item is used to size the vehicle and team, not to price the goods.
The journey and the time at each end.
Regular branch and void-works runs are priced once and invoiced monthly on an account.
