Legal courier at a glance
A legal courier is a dedicated delivery service for time-sensitive and confidential legal documents. Flextro collects from law firms, chambers and clients and takes the documents directly to the named recipient, on one vehicle, without passing through a sorting hub.
The work is usually one of two kinds. Deadline deliveries, such as court bundles, filings and exchange or completion documents that must arrive by a fixed time. And routine movements, such as documents between offices, chambers and clients, which can run to a schedule.
The difference from post or a parcel network is custody. The documents stay with one courier from collection to handover, and the handover is recorded with the time and the name of the person who received them.
Courier options for legal work
Most legal delivery falls into six patterns, from a bundle that must reach court before a hearing to the same run between offices every afternoon. Each one runs on a courier dedicated to your job.

Anything a firm needs moved securely and on time, from a single signed page to boxes of trial bundles. These are the items solicitors, chambers and professional firms ask us to move most often.
Hearing and trial bundles, authorities, claim forms and documents for filing.
Title deeds, wills, powers of attorney and wet-ink signed contracts.
Conveyancing and corporate completion documents against a fixed deadline.
Client files and archive boxes moving between offices, storage and clients.
Sealed evidence, USB drives and hard copies that must stay in one person’s custody.
Signature packs for directors, trustees or parties in different locations.
Confidential material? Documents travel on a courier carrying only your job and are handed over only to the agreed recipient. Tell us about any sealing, identification or wait-and-return requirement when you book.
Before the vehicle leaves
A bundle left with the wrong reception, or a signed original handed to someone without authority, can cost more than a late delivery. These six details are agreed before collection.
Number of bundles, boxes or envelopes, and whether they are sealed, confidential or originals.
Your office, chambers, a client’s premises or a signing meeting, and who will hand them over.
The named person, court office, counter or chambers clerk, and what happens if they are unavailable.
The filing time, hearing start or completion deadline, so the job is planned backwards from it.
Signature, reception drop, court counter or wait-and-return, agreed in advance.
Your matter or client reference on the booking, and proof of delivery with time and name.
When a deadline is set
In four steps. You tell us the documents, the recipient and the deadline; Flextro assigns a courier and fixes the price; the courier collects from your office or the signing; and the documents are handed to the named recipient with proof of delivery. The booking line is open 24 hours a day.
What is moving, where it is, who must receive it and the time it must arrive.
A dedicated courier is assigned and a fixed price agreed before the booking is accepted.
The courier collects from your office, chambers or client and keeps the documents throughout.
One journey to the named recipient, with the time and name recorded as proof of delivery.
Nationwide legal coverage
Across the whole UK. Flextro collects from law firms, chambers and clients and delivers to courts, tribunals, counterparties and clients in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
A deadline does not stop at a regional boundary. A bundle from a firm in Croydon can go straight to a court in Birmingham, or a completion pack from Manchester to a signing in Bristol, with the same courier from collection to handover.

Vehicle matching
Most legal work fits a small van: an envelope, a set of bundles or a few archive boxes. Larger file transfers and office moves need more space. Tell us the number of bundles or boxes and the vehicle is matched for you.

1.3 × 1.2 × 1.0 m
Envelopes, court bundles and signing packs.

2.1 × 1.2 × 1.4 m
Several trial bundles or a small set of archive boxes.

3.3 × 2.0 × 1.7 m
Larger file transfers and archive boxes.

4.2 × 1.2 × 1.75 m
High-volume archive moves.

4.2 × 2.0 × 2.1 m
Full office file and archive relocations.
Tell us how many bundles, boxes or files are moving. We will match the vehicle and confirm it with the price.

Customer proof
Real reviews from UK businesses that use Flextro for urgent, planned and repeat deliveries.
For law and professional firms
If documents move between your offices, chambers and clients every week, a Flextro business account replaces booking each job with agreed rates, scheduled runs and one monthly invoice. A court deadline still gets its own courier, on the same account.
Offices, chambers, regular recipients and handover rules are kept on file. When a deadline is close, the booking team already knows where the documents are going, so briefing an urgent job takes a sentence.
Sending documents only, not a firm-wide account? See urgent document courier.
Legal courier pricing
A legal courier is priced on three things: how quickly the documents have to arrive, the vehicle the load needs, and the route including any waiting or wait-and-return time. There is no rate card, because an envelope across town and a set of trial bundles across the country are different jobs.
How quickly the documents must arrive.
A bundle booked the day before costs less than the same bundle raised an hour before filing.
The vehicle the documents need.
Most legal work travels in a small van; the vehicle grows only with the volume.
The journey and the time at each end.
Regular office and chambers runs are priced once and invoiced monthly on an account.
